Westinghouse WGen14500TFc Tri-Fuel Portable Generator – 18,000 Peak Watts / 14,500 Running Watts
The Westinghouse WGen14500TFc Tri-Fuel Portable Generator is designed to provide electrical power for residential backup applications, outdoor activities, and compatible job-site equipment. Featuring a tri-fuel system, this generator operates on gasoline, propane, or natural gas, allowing users to select a fuel source based on availability and operating requirements.
Powered by a 713cc four-stroke OHV Westinghouse V-Twin engine with a cast-iron cylinder sleeve, the generator delivers up to 18,000 peak watts and 14,500 running watts when operating on gasoline. Power output varies depending on the selected fuel type.
The generator features a 10.5-gallon gasoline fuel tank that provides up to 16 hours of runtime at 25% electrical load under specified operating conditions. An integrated fuel gauge allows users to monitor gasoline levels, while the automatic low-oil shutdown system helps protect the engine when oil levels become insufficient.
For electrical connections, the WGen14500TFc includes a 120/240V 14-50R 50A outlet, a 120/240V L14-30R 30A outlet, a 120V L5-30R 30A outlet, two GFCI-protected 120V 5-20R duplex outlets, and two USB ports. These connections support compatible household appliances, electronic devices, and electrical equipment within the generator’s rated power capacity.
The generator is designed for use with appropriately rated transfer switches or compatible interlock equipment for residential backup power applications. When properly connected, it can supply electricity to selected household circuits and appliances, including refrigerators, sump pumps, lighting, and compatible heating or cooling equipment.
With a specified total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 5%, the generator provides electrical output suitable for compatible electronic devices, including computers, televisions, and charging equipment, subject to the devices’ power quality requirements.
The WGen14500TFc features copper generator windings, a push-button electric starting system, and remote-start functionality. Its integrated VFT Data Center displays voltage, frequency, and accumulated operating hours to assist with monitoring electrical output and maintenance schedules.
For transportation and positioning, the generator includes never-flat wheels, steel handles, and a lifting bar. The unit is covered by a manufacturer-provided limited warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.
